Which denture is right for you?

Full or partial — two routes

Most people aren't sure which they need, and that's fine — the assessment is where we work it out together. Here's the difference in plain terms.

Full dentures

For replacing all the teeth in an arch (upper, lower, or both). We can provide complete dentures directly to adults 18+, with no referral needed. We take impressions, build the denture in our lab and fit it, adjusting until the bite and comfort are right.

From €550 for a single arch · from €1,100 for upper and lower.

Partial dentures

For replacing some missing teeth while keeping your natural ones. A partial clips securely around the remaining teeth. Because your own teeth and gums must be healthy, partials require recent dentist attendance to confirm this — we'll work alongside your dentist where needed.

From €300, depending on the number of teeth and framework.

The difference

A registered professional, start to finish

In most places one person sees you and someone else, somewhere else, makes the appliance. Here it's one set of hands — the person who assesses you is the person who builds and fits your denture.

Éanna Callanan is a Registered Clinical Dental Technician (CDT), not a dentist. Direct denture care is for adults aged 18 and over and is limited to removable denture prostheses. Where natural teeth or other treatment are involved, we work alongside your dentist. What a Registered CDT can do →

Common questions

Good to know

Do I need a referral for dentures?

Not for complete dentures if you're 18 or over. Partial dentures require recent dentist attendance to confirm your remaining teeth and gums are healthy — we'll work alongside your dentist where needed.

How long does the process take?

It varies with the type of denture and the number of visits needed, but the process is deliberately unhurried — assessment, making in the lab, fitting and adjustment. We'll give you a realistic timeline at your assessment.

Will my dentures look natural?

That's the aim. Tooth shape, size and shade are chosen to suit your face and your remaining teeth, and the bite is checked and adjusted at fitting so it feels comfortable as well as looking right.

Are you a dentist?

No — Éanna is a Registered Clinical Dental Technician (CDT). A CDT can provide removable dentures directly to adults 18+. Anything involving natural teeth or other treatment is referred to or done alongside a dentist.

What if my denture breaks later?

Because the lab is on-site, many repairs are same-day. See our denture repair page or call the repair line.
